Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. O'Dell later became a morning news anchor at WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. Her articles from Charleston, about how the Charleston police handled DUI cases with leniency caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division.
